It’s a pet peeve of mine as well. If they’re so interested in assimulating into American culture and becoming a citizen, they really should consider waving the American flag.

I don’t think they’re as interested in assimilation as much as they are in acculturation. There are American flags in the picture if you look closely.
Having said that, I agree the BIG flags should be American ones.
