This is my first attempt at blogging from my Blackberry, so hopefully it works. I’m going to keep it short, in case it doesn’t.
I’m currently into my second week of the following work schedule:
Arrive at work: 6:30am
Leave work: anywhere from 7:30-9:30
Arrive at home: Eat dinner, look in at a sleeping Babito, go to bed
Weekends; In the office all day Saturday, work from home approximately 6 hours
This schedule to continue through next week, most likely to include Mother’s Day.
Life sucks right now.
And how are you all doing? Tell me something fun you’ve been up to in the comments so I can live vicariously through you. =)

Suddenly my crappy day doesn’t feel crappy. Sorry about the hectic schedule. I’ve been there before and I hate it. I can’t think of anything fun and exciting I’m up to that would allow you to experience vicariously through me. Just look forward to Memorial Day weekend. It’s fast approaching.

That sounds awful! What the heck do you do?

Jason: I just miss seeing The Babito. And yes, can’t wait for Memorial Day. Our busy period will be over by then.
Andrea: I’m a project manager doing legal/regulatory work for a big company. We have a regulatory proceeding going on right now. The one bonus is a may get to go up to San Francisco for a few days for hearings. What the heck do you do? =)

DD – that sucks! I know from reading here that you love being with the Babito – so I know how this must be driving you crazy.
On my end, just launched a new site to help parents teach their kids (readingcoachonline.com) – so I’ve actually been really busy writing – not on my own blog, mind you. But if you’d like to live vicariously, we’ve been taking walks in the park and swimming everyday. Hopefully the week will go by fast so you can too!

Aww man, those are some very long hours! I’m hoping they’ll ease up quite a bit after your two weeks of hell are over.
Yesterday was a gorgeous day. I went for a run, and after my run I ran to the grocery store and bought a tub of rolo ice cream. It was delicious. I highly recommend it!

Avill: I visited your new site and it looks really good. I bookmarked it so I can use it when Babito gets old enough to start reading.
Chanel: Thanks. They definitely will ease up after next week, and I’m so looking forward to it. I plan on using some of my vacation days soon. I’ll have to look into the Rolo ice cream. Is it a Canadian thing?

Wow, I hope you get through this quicky! I too have been really busy with work (definitely not as bad as you though) so my free time is spent doing routine-type things…not too much fun!
But we did go get ice cream the other night and just sat outside and ate it and enjoyed the weather (because of course we still aren’t sure if this warm weather is here to stay or not).

No living vicariously through me, unless you WANT to be exhausted from packing and hauling way-too-heavy boxes around…
