I really picked a bad title for that other post. A post with a title like that should really be about why I’m so grateful for my wife. So, why do I thank God for my wife? There’s many reasons, including the fact that she’s been able to put up with me these last eight years:
- She’s made me a much better person than I was the day I met her, and this I truly can’t deny (although I don’t often give her credit for it). We’re living in a great home and I have a great job and both are due to her pushing me, having confidence in me, and giving me something special to work hard for. Who knows where I’d be today if I hadn’t met her.
- She gave me our son. The mixing of our two sets of genes really has created a wonderful little boy. He has a really great personality, a truly kind heart, and he’s absolutely adorable, and gets all of those traits from his Mommy! He got both of our intelligence. Did I ever talk about how I could recite the entire Pledge of Allegiance when I was a mere two year old? I don’t think I have, but my wife’s heard about it much more than she’s cared to!
- She’s made me excited about the future. I really cannot wait to see what’s in store for us in the future. I’m looking forward to spending many more happy years with her. I really am a lucky guy…..she’s way out of my league! =)

Hi Daddy Dan. I tagged you for the seven weird and random facts meme, but like I said in the post, only do it if you get around to it. I won’t feel bad if you don’t..
