I usually don’t do posts like this, but I thought I’d play it safe and post something nice and innocent.
So, what did I do this weekend besides anger an Iraq war veteran – on Veteran’s Day weekend? (I think we’re friends now)
FRIDAY: Spent the day with The Babito, visiting Mommy’s work and then heading off to Disneyland. I already posted about Friday here.
SATURDAY: Mommy and The Babito spent the day at my cousin’s wedding shower. I stayed home and finished putting together a wall system for the living room/playroom. The room was getting out of hand with toys all around. Hopefully this wall system (from Pottery Barn Kids) will help.
So far, The Babito seems to like it:
Sunday: We didn’t really do much. Went to church and went out to lunch. We came home and The Babito took a 5 hour nap! I think he needed to catch up on his sleep since he had two very busy days on Friday and Saturday.
Monday: We went down to Old Pasadena to STATS Floral Supply to get some new Christmas decorations. We got some really cool LED lights that I plan on putting up in our trees in the front yard. We also got some decorations for indooors. After that we went to the Santa Anita Fashion Park to get The Babito some new shoes and a few Christmas gifts.

i wish i had a holiday weekend! it was a normal weekend for me. i’m so looking forward to thanksgiving!

It was a normal weekend for me too. Having a bunch of holidays is the only thing I miss about having a government job.
That’s a nice wall system. I just had to put together a desk, and that wasn’t very fun. Actually, I didn’t put it together…I supervised the job. It was better that way.

Becky: You mean you didn’t get Monday off?!? I’m sure the attorneys you work with did. That sucks!
Tara: You and Becky need to find new jobs! The wall system was actually pretty easy to put together. The only tool needed was a screwdriver. You sound like my wife! And I’m happy to add you to the blogroll.
