As a sports fan, your teams usually win some and lose some. Well, this weekend, all of the teams I root for lost. In baseball, In baseball I’m an Angels fan, in college football – USC, and in the NFL – Rams and Packers (at least the Packers are still 4-1). It sucks.
Like I said earlier though in an earlier post, October is still the best month for sports fans. Nothing’s more fun than watching Sportscenter on a Sunday night during football season. One complaint about Sportscenter…..I wish they didn’t use Chris Berman to do the NFL highlights. The guy gets on my nerves.
One thing I’ve noticed as I’ve gotten older (and since getting married and especially since Babito arrived) is that I don’t care as much about sports as I used to. In my younger days a weekend like this would’ve depressed me. Now, not so much. It’s definitely because I have much more important things going on now, and for that I’m grateful. I’m still pissed about the Angels, though.

The one team I was hoping to win this weekend lost. I wanted the Packers to remain undefeated, but they had too many turnovers and lacked intensity and fire at home. I hope they can bounce back from this lost, because I really want Brett Favre to do well this season.
