Well, Halloween’s come and gone, except for the stray group of 16 year olds with no costumes ringing the bell and waking up the Babito. I’d tell them to get lost, but I didn’t buy that insurance last night when I had the chance. Better to play it safe and give them what they want. That way nobody gets hurt.
I was surprised by how much the Babito enjoyed his first real Halloween (he was only 2 months last year). He liked his costume and kept it on all evening, even the hat with the honeybee on it. He ran to the door and eagerly greeted all of the trick or treaters. He usually gets scared when the doorbell rings, but not tonight. He wasn’t scared of any of the costumes or masks and he wasn’t even scared when I took him next door to my neighbor’s house, the one that always has his house all decorated with strobe lights, scary music, and scary decorations. I think he’s going to be a kid that loves Halloween, just like his Daddy did when he was young. I can’t wait for next year.

Kay: His favorite will be Christmas once he realizes all the gifts he gets. Right now every trip to Target is Christmas for him. We never leave without buying him another toy to add to his ever-growing stash!
Romi: He was actually a Honey pot. No, he wasn’t afraid of anything. I was impressed with him.
